Tuxera Joins Microsoft Windows Embedded Partner Program
Extends Collaboration Across Platforms
HELSINKI, FINLAND. Tuxera Ltd, the creator of the leading NTFS and exFAT file system drivers for Linux and other operating systems, is now a certified member of Microsoft Windows Embedded Partner Program. As part of the program, Tuxera offers its NTFS solution for Windows Embedded CE users.
“We are proud to extend our collaboration with Microsoft to include Windows Embedded partnership. The initial feedback has been very positive and we look forward to work together with new customers and partners in the Microsoft’s embedded ecosystem.” said Mikko Välimäki, Tuxera CEO.
Tuxera announced Tuxera NTFS for Windows CE in January in connection with Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. Tuxera thus became the first company to offer NTFS for embedded Windows systems. Tuxera’s NTFS technology continues to be the world’s most popular, most reliable, most feature-rich, and the highest performance NTFS solution available.
Tuxera has developed its market-leading knowledge of Windows file system technology since the late 1990s. Szabolcs Szakacsits, Tuxera CTO and founder, notes: “The latest agreement with Microsoft is a testament to our unbeatable competence in Microsoft file system technology. Our NTFS codebase has already millions of deployments on Linux and other platforms, proving our technological superiority. It has been a pleasure to work with Microsoft again to redefine the industry standard and extend its availability to every platform out there.”
