Cannot mount NTFS volume

Post Cannot mount NTFS volume
I want to mount the NTFS partition of a dual-boot machine, without success.

The operation seems to works well (no error message), but the volume is not mounted.
There is no log entry in syslog or messages.

OTOH, commands ntfsls and ntfsinfo work without any problem and I have no problem mounting the partition under SystemRescueCD.

The linux system is a debian/sid, with ntfs-3g ver 1:2011.4.12AR.4-1 (I have seen recent discussions about ver 2011.1.15AR.4 and upgraded without more results).

You can find the strace output of "ntfs-3g /dev/sda1 /dosc" in the attached file.

What operation are you talking about ? (paste the command).
Can you also post the results of :

uname -a
lsmod | grep fuse
ntfs-3g -help
mount | grep fuse

FYI, I finaly managed to mount the NFS volumes after updating a few packages and libraries. One of them was probably slighly outdated or corrupted...
