Couldn't open inode

gauss256 Joined: Wed Jan 30, 2008 00:04 Posts: 2	Couldn't open inode When I run this command Code: mount -t ntfs-3g /dev/disk1s1 /Volumes/ntfsdrive I get the message Code: ERROR: Couldn't open inode : No such file or directory However, everything seems to be working. Should I just count my blessings and ignore the error?

szaka Tuxera CTO Joined: Tue Nov 21, 2006 23:15 Posts: 1645	What OS X version of NTFS-3G do you use? From where did you download it? There is no such error message in NTFS-3G. The closest is a debug printout which means you don't have hiberfil.sys. This case can be safely ignored and the debug message mustn't be logged as error. Something seems to be wrong in your driver packaging.

gauss256 Joined: Wed Jan 30, 2008 00:04 Posts: 2	I got NTFS-3G from http://macntfs-3g.blogspot.com/. It was build NTFS-3G 1.1120 [stable] which is said to be for OS X 10.5. I am running OS X 10.5.1. Could it be a FUSE message? I installed MacFUSE-Core-10.5-1.3.1.dmg from http://code.google.com/p/macfuse/.
