Post USB NTFS Drive keeps dismounting and remounting
I have emailed Tuxera directly but have not heard anything so I am trying here.

I just purchased Tuxera for use with an USB external hard drive on my El Capitan Mac. I thought Tuxera would help me read and write to the NTFS drive. The problem I am encountering is that the external hard drive keeps auto-dismounting and remounting. It does this even when the drive is idle. I did not have this problem before installing Tuxera but of course the drive was read only. Has anyone else encountered this problem and can you please help me fix this Tuxera problem? Thanks.

Paul

Format into FAT32 Default and then again try to mount

You would need to format the external hard drive for it to work correctly. I dont think DSM supports the default MAC file system when its directly plugged in via USB. Unfortunately, it wont work the way you want it to.
